26 weeks!

Can't believe I'm already writing another blog post, meaning another week has past by! I'm happy they are flying by though:) Last weekend, we had a great time at our good friends', The Hubert's house, watching the Final Four and having a shrimp boil:) It was a great taste of home, something that is definitely missed during crawfish season! The next day we went out to eat with some other friends and then went shopping at the mall. The lack of maternity departments we found was so frustrating though, and I definitely can't walk the whole mall like I used to before getting pregnant! The rest of the week was filled with work and work and more work! We have a busy weekend ahead of us too:) Staying busy sure makes the time fly by! Alexis has been kicking up a storm and moving all the time...this week was the first time I was laying down and my belly just jumped:) It was pretty cool....it was also the first time I had an episode of Braxton Hicks, that however was not as cool. And then I took the glucose test, and the rest of the weekend went downhill. I pretty much just stayed in bed for the most part because I was so sick! Just finishing this now on Tuesday, because I felt so awful. I'll post the pics from this week, however I don't have a bump picture because I was so sick! Baby is the size of a head of lettuce! Will update more next week:)

25 weeks!

Yay for another week passing, and being 25 weeks! Time is surely flying by and I am so grateful for that! I am so estatic to getting closer and closer to meeting sweet Alexis! We had a busy week working and celebrating Easter. We actually celebrated Easter with some of family in El Paso whom we hadn't seen in a while! We had a lot of fun, thanks for having us! The rest of the busy week was filled with working and all sorts of other non fun stuff:) But it sure does make the weeks go by soooo fast! I'm also counting down until the end of this month when we get to go on our Babymoon/5th Anniversary trip to Ruidoso!!! Baby has been moving sooo much lately and it is the sweetest feeling ever, even when she does wake me up! I can't wait for Roger to finally be able to feel her move! She is the size of a cauliflower this week, and i am still doing great!

Then some fun pictures of us doing a Mexican tradition, Cascarones (confetti eggs), breaking it over ones head brings good luck!

24 weeks!

We had a great week this week! Can't believe we are already another one down! We completely switched out the original room we chose to use for the nursery and the guest room to give Alexis more space! We put her letters of her name on the wall and put the crib and bedding together! We also got our baby monitor with movement sensor all put together too...we were such busy bees:) Roger has been busy at work getting to fly a lot, and we are grateful for that! I also want to say how thankful I am that I have two pretty awesome people that gave me all their maternity clothes to use so I didn't have to go buy any. Thank you so much Melinda and Meredith, I appreciate all y'all do for Alexis and I...she's one pretty lucky girl to have both of you in her life just like me! We have lots of fun activities planned for this 4 day weekend and will update y'all more next week! Alexis is the size of a cantaloupe this week...getting bigger and moving more all the time:)

23 weeks!

Well another week has past, and we are so happy it's going by so fast! It means it's closer to the time when we can meet our sweet baby girl! We had so much fun with my Mom and Dad while they were here and we got so much accomplished! Mom and I sorted through all the clothes from her, Melinda, and Caroline into sizes and tubs and we got them put away in storage! She already has so many, what a spoiled little girl:) We also got her bedding, travel system, and a jogging stroller! We found some great deals! Thanks Honey and Popsy! We have loved having our family come visit and had such a great time with all who came! We had a doctors appointment yesterday and both Alexis and I are doing great! She had a strong heartbeat of 145, and her anatomy scan showed everything was normal and she was growing right on track, also all her genetic testing came back normal! Thank you Jesus, I prayed hard for normal results! We still feel great and she is definitely moving around a LOT! What a sweet feeling that is! This week she is the size of a grapefruit! See y'all next week!

22 weeks!

These weeks are just flying by! We had a very good week, one set of Roger's parents came in for a visit and we had a blast! We went shopping, ate out, went to the Holocaust museum, played games, watched movies, and just hung out! My Mom and Dad come in today and stay until Monday and I know we will have lots of fun with them too! They are bringing lots of goodies for Alexis! Alexis is sure one lucky girl to have 3 amazing sets of grandparents in her life and is already spoiled rotten! Thank y'all for everything you do! I'm feeling great, still sleepy and Alexis is staying very active! I do however have more energy now then I did in the past! Alexis is the size of a Papaya this week! Looking forward to getting closer and closer until she is here!

Another week down, and it was an exciting one for us! We got our crib in and Daddy put it together! We love it, Thanks Grammie and Poppie! We have also been organizing the nursery and figuring out the rest of the stuff we will need for Alexis! She has been super active this week, moving all around! I still feel great, just tired and it is getting harder for me to sleep at night! Better get used to the whole not sleeping at night thing though! We are getting so excited that it is getting closer to time to meet our baby girl! Alexis is the size of a pomegranate this week, she is growing:) Heres some pics from this week!

20 Weeks!

I can't believe we have already surpassed the halfway mark, it has literally flown by! Our most exciting news this week, was the fact we are having a girl! We are so thrilled and have been busy at work planning the nursery, buying pink and frilly things, and just being excited! I'm really happy Caroline and Alexis will be so close in age, and we are really lucky to get some of Caroline's things she has outgrown! All the grandparents have been so happy and buying and making Alexis all sorts of things and it is safe to say she is spoiled already! We are very lucky to have so much love in our family and support, thanks to everyone for all you do:) Not much has changed this week, I'm still feeling her move around and my belly keeps getting bigger! Baby is the size of a Banana this week:)That's all for now!
