Another week has come and gone, getting us closer and closer until we find out the gender:) I can't wait to find out...I'm super ready! Not much has gone on this week, just have been working and working! Roger and I went baby shopping on Saturday, or really baby item browsing to narrow down all our choices on our BIG items! We picked our crib and dresser and car seat and stroller, the rest of the stuff pretty much will be decided once its known if a boy or a girl:) we also ate lunch at Olive Garden...FINALLY something I've been craving for what it seems like forever. I've had a couple of new cravings: Blueberry bagels, pickles, and still pizza! Still feeling great and looking forward to our upcoming doctors visit next Wednesday! The baby is said to be the size of an avocado this week...growing all the time! Just wanted to keep everyone update and I hope the next weeks will fly by until our anatomy scan on the 23rd!

Very Hungry Caterpillar!
I can not absolutely believe that my little Wormy, my niece, Caroline Jeane turned one! It seems like just yesterday she was born and was most definitely the prettiest little baby I had ever seen! She was so tiny and I loved her so much from the moment I laid eyes on her. Now that little tiny baby is walking and running around, has become so vibrant, is so incredibly smart and so funny! I don't know if you can tell or not, but I am a super proud Aunt:) I love this little girl so much, I hope my baby will be a lot like Caroline and as cool as her! I unfortunately had to miss her first birthday party, but she had a Very Hungry Caterpillar themed party! I was so impressed by the great job Melinda and Mom did with throwing this party! They did such an awesome job! I was also so glad that they loved the memory bear, that Roger and I had made for Caroline out of Baba's favorite shirt. Roger's Mom did such an awesome job making the bear and it was very special! I can't wait to watch my little Wormy grow up even more and see the wonderful little girl I know she is destined to be...and watch her become an even bigger DIVA! She is going to be such an amazing big cousin to Baby Willett and I know she will teach her baby cousin the ropes of life! I am also so proud of my sister and watching her become such an amazing Mom has really been a joy! Hopefully she can give me some tips of the trade!

15 weeks:)
I can't believe another week has flown by, and only 5 more weeks until we find out if baby is a boy or a girl! So exciting! On Saturday, we went to our friend's house for Paola's birthday dinner! It was delicious! It is always so much fun to get out and experience a different culture and their food! We had such a great time visiting with our friends and are so thankful we have such a wonderful group of friends here in El Paso! The rest of the week was very low key and we just did stuff around the house and worked! Finally the truck passed for an inspection sticker and will be registered today and then I can drive my Durango all the time:) You have no idea how exciting this is, it has been a full blown battle to get this truck fixed and registered and I am just thanking God that we are done with this battle! I have been feeling great, and have started getting some of my energy back! That is always a GREAT thing! My sister, Melinda and I have become full blown Wheelers & Dealers! We have been finding such amazing deals for baby and Caroline and even just a few for ourselves! She has been so sweet with finding stuff for baby and even driving around town to pick things up for me! I'm pretty lucky to have such a great big sister who I know will be the absolute BEST aunt ever! We have found such great things and have saved so much money by buying them second hand and in great condition...I'm always down for a bargain:) Just wanted to let her know how much she means to baby and me and how thankful we are for her! My symptoms are still pretty much the same: I'm tired a lot, but my hunger has increased a lot over the last week! My cravings are still McDonalds and Pizza, pretty much anything that is unhealthy:)

Doctor Visit
Yesterday was our first doctor visit, I was so nervous before the visit and all my nerves were for nothing! Baby is doing great! We got to hear baby's heartbeat on the Doppler and the heartbeat was 154 bpm. There is nothing in this world like hearing your baby's heartbeat for the very first time. All your worries and fears that something is wrong comes tumbling out when hearing that beautiful sound! It is truly an amazing and beautiful thing! We also found out we were farther along then we thought, we are 14 weeks today and we got a due date of July 12, 2013. We are so blessed and grateful that baby is growing right on track and thankful that God gave us this little life! Our next doctors appointment is Feb 6th, and we have our anatomy scan on Feb 23 and that is when we should find out the gender if baby cooperates. We will be completely happy with either a boy or a girl as long as baby is healthy! Roger is leaning towards boy though, but I know a little girl would have him wrapped around her finger:) We finally went Facebook official today and had such an overwhelming response of love, happiness, and support that meant so much to us:) we are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family!

Snow Day
Today I woke up to a beautiful yard covered in snow! I know most of you are thinking it snows in El Paso? Why yes, yes it does. This is the first time I have seen snow since we lived in Ruston and Roger was at OCS in Benning. Needless to say, I was super excited! Roger got to come home early from work and we had a snow day! We made Peanut Butter Blossom cookies and I have a big pot of Deer Tips cooking for later! This afternoon, after we let the snow stick and accumulate, we took the dogs out and played in it! The dogs were super cautious at first, but before long they were running around and playing in it. They had a complete blast, but we had to bring them in because Maddie was turning into a pupsicle. Now we are relaxing by the fire and enjoying the rare and beautiful snow falling! Hope everyone else has a great day!

Happy New Year!
Happy New Years from Baby Willett, Roger, and I! This is my first bump picture, we are not exactly completely sure on the weeks but either 8 or 9! I'm attributing some of my pre-existing chunk to being baby! Hey there's only one time in life a girl can do that, make the most of it right?
2012 in a Nutshell:)
My 2013 New Year's Resolution was to start a blog to keep up with this amazing adventure we have begun embarking on! There is nothing better than memories and this is an easy way to keep all our friends and family informed on what's going on in our life! 2012 was a pretty big year for us:) Roger finished Flight School and we moved from Alabama many, many miles to the Big City of El Paso, Texas...much to our surprise we settled in and began to LOVE it here! Another big milestone for us was we made our first big purchase together and bought a house! We actually own something BIG!! Another milestone was we bought a new SUV for me in hopes of expanding our family and making this our new family car! Around October, we decided we would love to start trying to have a baby and make this little family bigger by two little feet:) We assumed that it would take about 5-6 months to actually conceive because on average it usually takes couples that long! Well Thanksgiving came and went and on Nov. 31st, we got some amazing news!!!! The Home pregnancy tests...all of them...came out positive and we found out Baby Willett was on the way! We then booked a doctor's appointment and the bloodwork confirmed it all, and the lab result stated we were about 6-7 weeks pregnant! We are thrilled that everything happened so fast and can't wait to find out more about our baby! Since we found out so close to Christmas, we decided that would be the perfect time to tell our parents and siblings. All of them were so excited for us, and that meant so much! What a perfect way to share our news then on one of the most important Holidays of the year. We will wait until 12 weeks to share the news to other friends and family just to be on the safe side! As of right now, I am about 8-9 weeks pregnant! Our first OB GYN appointment is on Jan 9th and we will have an Estimated Date of Delivery ultrasound! We are just hoping and praying that everything is going well for baby and that nothing is wrong! But we know God has a plan for our little one, and just relying on him to take care of Baby! So here's to hoping 2013 will be full of lots of joy and our sweet baby will make it's entrance into the world!
