Home Sweet Home!

This week started off on the most exciting note ever...we finally got to bring our baby girl home! On her three week birthday, she got to spend her first day at her own house...with no wires, no other babies crying, and lots of attention! I think she really loves it here! She is completely on all bottle feedings and is a little piggy, seeing as in the first five days she was home she gained 6 ounces. We spent most of the week just getting into the swing of things having Alexis here with us 24/7! I never thought I would be so happy to be waking up every 3 hours in the middle of the night. Her fursisters absolutely adore her, especially Piper who thinks she is her new bodyguard. Alexis had her first bath at home, which hasn't changed her hatred of them from the hospital. She may be getting spoiled just a little bit, because the first sound she makes that may be considered a cry...she gets picked right up and she is totally fine with that, girl loves being held all the time! We had a case history interview with Early Childhood Intervention, and we will have an evaulation with them next month. For those of you who don't know what that is, it is a program that comes to our house that will provide any kind of therapy, nutrition, and/or assistance we may need. That is such a blessing to have that program available to us! We had our first pediatrician visit, and we absolutely love him! Everything went great and she is gaining weight right on track, and our next appointment is next month and we will get shots! She had her first big photoshoot with my really good friend Erin, who did such an amazing job on them! I can't wait to see them! Other than that, we have been just getting a schedule down and loving on our sweet baby all we want! We are so thankful for the outpouring support, help, and prayers we are still receiving! Please keep it coming, we still have a long road ahead! Here's some pictures from this week!
