We can hardly believe its been over one month since our miracle has been born! She has come such a long way in the short time she has been on Earth! Thank you God for your miracles and making Alexis stronger each and everyday and overcoming all the odds that were against her! We have been trying to settle in a routine at home, but girl likes things her own way at her own time and demand! We had a doctors appointment at Border's Children's Hospital and found out she now weighs 7 lbs 3.5 oz. She still has low muscle tone but it is getting better, and they gave us some more exercises to do with them at home! We go back to them in November to check and see how she is doing! We have been blessed to have lots of help from family and friends and we are so grateful for that! Please keep the prayers and support coming as we keep recovering! This week she has started responding to things we say and do by smiling! She used to only smile randomly at lights, but she actually smiles in response to things we do! She is doing great at night and for the most part letting Mommy and Daddy sleep. She has been drinking more and more ml of breastmilk now taking 75 ml each bottle and sometimes asking for more...she still hates getting a bath and her diaper changed! She went for her first shopping and lunch outing...it took longer than normal because everyone had to stop and talk to her..she loved all the attention of course:) Mommy and Daddy had their first date nights, big shutout to Honey Gram for keeping Alexis and we really enjoyed it...we did miss her very much though! I finally got to eat sushi for the first time since last October...I missed it so much! Alexis has already started pulling her bows and headbands over her eyes and then getting mad about it! More next time and next week I have another postpartum checkup and Alexis'neurology appointment...need major prayers for that please! We also had Grandma and Grandpa here to visit for the weekend! Here's some pictures to enjoy:)
