4 months old!

Alexis is growing like a weed and doing so many new things it's hard to keep up with! I wish time would stop moving so quickly so she would stay little just a while longer:) Since I've written last, she has had two doctor's appointments...one at her pediatrician and one at Border's Children's Hospital. She is now 11 pounds, 9 ounces and 24 inches long! At her Border's appointment, they told us she was showing signs of cerebral palsy and that was devastating news. I had a few bad days of being angry and mad about it, but now we are moving forward and are going to make the best of it...what else can I do? Alexis now laughs (full blown belly laughs), kicks like crazy, and has rolled over once. She gets so excited and tries to lunge at things, she is just too cute. We had a great Thanksgiving with Honey gram and Popsie : Tom the turkey visited, Cassandra our Elf came to our house, and we had some wonderful food. Most of all we had so much to be Thankful for: the mere fact Alexis is with us still, our wonderful friends and family, and all we have. We sure are one lucky little family! We decorated our house for Christmas and put our Christmas tree up with the help of Honey and Popsie. We were sad to see them leave and we really enjoyed our visit with them, but are happy we will see them soon! Now we are getting ready for our big trip to see all of our family, we can't wait and will have lots of pictures I know! Here's some pictures to tide you over until then:

Happy Halloween!

We had such a GHOULISHLY good time with all our Halloween festivities. We were so happy that Honey, Aunt Mimi, Caroline, and Nana Cheryl got to come and spend time with us. We had such a fun time with everyone. We went Trick or Treating on post, Boo at the Zoo, took fall pictures, an amazing pumpkin patch, a party at the library, a trick or treating play date on post, and a fall festival at church. Our week was stocked full of fun Halloween activities. The Great Pumpkin also came and left goodies for the whole family! The best part of it all was spending time with our family and getting to enjoy our first Halloween with our cousin, Caroline:) Here's some pictures for everyone to enjoy!
